Liam Walsh to fight Gervonta Davis for World Title

Liam Walsh will fight Gervonta Davis for the IBF World Super-Featherweight Title at the Copper Box Arena, London, UK on 20th May 2017. Walsh with a professional boxing record of 21-0-0 from Cromer, UK will be the challenger in the contest and also the home fighter on the bill. Davis also has an undefeated record of 17-0-0 with 16 of his wins by way of knockout.

Gervonta Davis is the current IBF World Super-Featherweight Title holder and is from Baltimore, USA. Previously, Davis fought undefeated Jose Pedraza, a contest that resulted in a technical knockout victory for Davis who then claimed the World Title. Pedraza had previously won all 22 fights in his professional boxing career.

Ryan Walsh defends his British Featherweight Title on the undercard against Marco McCullough. The undercard also features Anthony Yarde and Daniel Dubois.
