Shamrock Promotions presents a night of professional boxing in Norwich at The Halls on Friday November 25th. The main event will be a final eliminator contest at light-welterweight for the English title between Nathan Dale and Phillip Bowes.
Dale vs. Bowes is a highly anticipated contest which will be fought over 10 rounds and the winner will go on to fight for the English title next year. Both boxers consider speed as their main strength so this promises to be an exciting match-up and a genuine 50/50 fight.
Norwich’s Nathan Dale nicknamed “Slickster” stands undefeated with a record of 20-0, he is an IBF World Youth title winner and also has an impressive amateur record. Leytonstone boxer Phillip Bowes nicknamed “Quicksilver” has a record standing at 14-2, his only losses were 2 southern-area title fights against tough opponents and since then he has won every fight convincingly. Neither boxer has faced an opponent of the same level and quality as the other which means that their records do not necessarily reflect in the potential outcome of the fight.
On the undercard for the event we can look forward to seeing Joe Hurn, Zaiphan Morris, and Craig Poxton all scheduled to be featured in 6 round contests. Joe “The Hitman” Hurn looks to have fully recovered from shoulder injury and is back to full fitness once again. Norwich boxer Zaiphan Morris will look to continue his championship form at featherweight as he looks to earn his first title shot and Craig Poxton also at featherweight looking to impress for another shot at the English title.
The long awaited return of talented boxer and showman Scott Moises is scheduled for the night. Moises nicknamed “Iron Duck” returns after 2 years out of the ring in the UK to compete once again at lightweight. We also hope to see the return of his duck costume!
Essex duo Alan Ratibb and Marcus Poston will be back in the ring for their 5th and 2nd professional fights. Ratibb nicknamed “The Iron Turk” returns to Norwich to compete at welterweight and Poston was impressive in his pro debut last time out and will look for another win on the night.
Ticket prices are as follows: VIP Table £70, Ringside £60, Tiered Seating £45 and Standing £35. Please contact the boxers directly for tickets or alternatively book online with Shamrock Boxing Promotions.
