Friday Fight Night at The Halls

The Halls PosterBoxing returns to Norwich Friday 18th September, the venue being The Halls (St. Andrews Hall) for the first show back there since Nathan Dale won the IBF youth world title.

This time we see the return of many boxers from the local area. Sam Sexton is back in the ring after recovering from back injury. Craig Poxton will fight for the first time after a major surgery on his knuckle. Billy Bird went away to York Hall (the home of boxing), but was unlucky to come away with the loss. Billy will be looking to make an impact on his return to Norwich!

Also to feature at the event will be the popular Zaiphan Morris, who is looking to make it 4 wins out of 4 fights as a professional boxer. Joe Hurn will hope to put his opponent away within the distance again, after all 3 of his wins ended by the way of stoppage.

Tickets are on sale now!

You can contact the boxers directly for tickets or you can get them from the Kickstop gym in Norwich. Any info needed on this event please contact myself and I can pass you onto who ever will be able to help.

  1. Before moving to Spain in 2006 I was a Senior ABA coach at the Norwich Lads ABC and have been following the success of the Kickstop with great interest as I know the coaches and majority of the boxers there. Graham Everitt & Jon Thaxton have done much in making the Norwich Pro Gym one of the best and most successful gyms in the country with boxers such as Liam, Ryan Walsh, Sam Sexton, Nathan Dale plus other up and coming boxers such Craig Poxton and Joe Hurn. Believe me when I say pro boxing is a tough sport both inside and outside the ring. I do hope the local media will continue to give them the support they deserve.
